I have witnessed the difficulties that our neighbors face in accessing essentials including good healthcare, affordable housing and enough food. The incumbent, Mark Cochran, has ignored these issues, and instead promoted laws that restrict the rights of some of our most vulnerable citizens. He is focused on being a cog in the Republican majority in Nashville. I promise to work to make the state government address the needs here in McMinn and Monroe counties.
I support the regulation of guns to promote safety while allowing individual use.
I support reproductive freedom.
I support vaccination programs to prevent spread of dangerous diseases.
I support equal rights and opportunities for all individuals, no matter their race, religion, sexual identity, age, etc.
I support the right to access to affordable medical care.
I support universal access to high speed internet.
The drug addiction crisis must be more aggressively addressed.
I support elimination of hunger in this district.
I support accepting federal funds for education, health, infrastructure and other needs in this district.
I support reducing our carbon footprint.
